Christine was born in Papunya in 1973 and is the daughter of artist, Topsy Peterson Napangardi and the niece Lily Kelly Napangardi.

She lives with her family Alice Springs and Mt Liebig. In 2001 Christine began painting her family’s Tjukurrpas (Dreaming stories) of Country around Mt Liebig, including Sandhills (Tali) and Willy Wagtail.
